Male Eagle-Owl lays an egg!

By now, most theme park regulars and birds of prey centre visitors are more than familiar with Henry the European eagle owl!
Over the past few years Henry has entertained us all with his somewhat moody approach to flying shows, together with his gentle nature towards children and adults alike.
Well he has gone and done it! yes , Henry has laid an egg... Infact he has indeed laid 2 eggs!
At first, staff and customers were surprised and humoured by the fact that indeed Henry is now likely to be female, however more surprisingly it seems that Henry is simply laying these eggs as a means of enhancing his diet as he has proceeded to consume each egg the minute it has been laid!
Naturally there are reasons and explanations why the bird has gone through this behavior process, but never-the-less it is still amusing that such a well loved bird (with so much character) has once again managed to surprise us all!
