Lightwater Valley Birds of Prey Centre is operated by Stuart Laidler, Director of Eagle International Enterprises Ltd.
Stuart is one of the UK's top professional Falconers and first began his involvement in Falconry at the age of 11.
The Centre has species from around the world including Eagles, Vultures, Owls, Hawks and Falcons.
The centre performs exhillerating daily flying shows with first class commentary and presentation.
Within the complex is a gift & souvenir shop, picnic area, flying arena and aviaries that have a generous display of interesting raptors and owls.
The Birds of Prey Centre has excellent wheelchair access together with free parking for all visitors.
The Centre receives around 45,000 visitors annually and boasts extremely entertaining and professional flying shows.
Our Mission
Lightwater Valley Birds of Prey Centre is dedicated to providing our visitors with a professionally run, inspiring and entertaining experience. We aim to educate all our visitors about the need to protect our native birds of prey and their natural habitats, as well as guaranteeing a memorable and fun family day out. Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands on interaction with selected birds at the centre.
How to find us
We are located on the site of Lightwater Valley Theme Park, which is well signposted from the A1 motorway. Turn off the A1 and follow the A61 towards Ripon, then take the A6108 for about 2.5 miles and follow the signs to Lightwater Valley.
