About Us
Lightwater Valley Birds of Prey Centre is operated by Stuart Laidler, Director of Eagle International Enterprises Ltd.
The Centre has over 50 birds of prey including Hawks, Eagles, Falcons, Owls, Vultures, Buzzards and Kites.
Within the complex is a jungle themed 'Creepy Crawly and Reptile Cave' together with wallabies, a purpose built flying arena, gift / souvenir shop & picnic area. The centre is within easy reach of on-site shops, granary restaurant and one of the UK's favourite theme parks!
The Birds of Prey Centre has excellent wheelchair access together with free parking for all visitors.
The Centre receives around 45,000 visitors annually and boasts extremely entertaining and professional flying shows.
Our Mission
Lightwater Valley Birds of Prey Centre is dedicated to providing our visitors with a professionally run, inspiring and entertaining experience. We aim to educate all our visitors about the need to protect our native birds of prey and their natural habitats, as well as guaranteeing a memorable and fun family day out. Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands on interaction with selected birds at the centre.
How to find us
Eagle Enterprises' Birds of Prey Centre is at Lightwater Valley Theme Park, which is well signposted from the A1 motorway. Turn off the A1 and follow the A61 towards Ripon, then take the A6108 for about 2.5 miles and follow the signs to Lightwater Valley.
